Love's value is not calculated in monetary terms... it is calculated in terms of selfless sacrifice... how rich are you?
The operative word being selfless which is defined by Collins English Dictionary as having little concern for one's own interests. This is a quality most people lack... simply because they are unable or unwilling to tolerate pain and or discomfort for a period of time.
Love is Energy!
People willing to sacrifice for the benefit of others is what keeps the world going round generation after generation....not money (though many would argue). Throughout time countless examples can be used to support this claim.
In our generation alone we have seen the sacrifices made by those who have stood up against segregation, degradation, inequality and injustice in varying forms. The Civil Rights Movement, the ending of Apartheid, the tearing down of the Berlin Wall and the courage of the men and women who serve in the armed forces (especially in the time of war) are all great examples of the high cost Love paid for someone else!
This type of sacrifice creates a transforming bond of unity among people which energizes Love and causes it to GROW... Yes Love can grow! Love is alive just like you & me:)
